Iwane Laboratories, Ltd. was established in the year 1979 with a goal to achieve space recognition like a robot eye and establish digital parallel world. This is to achieve using image processing technology which we have developed over the years and now moving forward to apply the same for automated driving system.
We have international patent on PRM (Parts Reconstruction Method) which helps to recognize object even if it’s partial visible and as a result frame all surrounding scene. In addition, we have CV (Camera Vector) technology which compliments PRM and related to space analysis. We are now focusing on development of achieving our goal using above two technologies. By applying PRM on the top or with CV, we not only recognize object in the scene/ sequence of scenes but also object characteristics like quantity, geo location, measurement, state and nature of object, etc.
On the business side, we have launched our flagship product - Optical Mobile Mapping System (MMS) couple of years before in the world market. We also have a support of add-on Viewer (ALV) for desktop, web and mobile platform. MMS (IMS3) is well accepted in worldwide market, proven, reliable and available for sales. We have over 10 distributors and other partner's around the globe.
Our offerings is not limited to selling complete mobile mapping system but also to provide turnkey services. We provide complete solution i.e. Hardware along with all related software’s straight from data acquisition to data processing using which clients can perform everything locally. Our MMS application software’s are one of the best in the world using which one can extract meaning full information in very short time.
We have already captured street network of more than 20,000 km in Japan and more than 5,000 km in Hong Kong, Thailand, Middle East, and other countries. We are now expanding in the world market through our distributors & partner network. In order to provide integrated MMS solutions and on-site technical service to our clients all around the world, we are actively looking for distributors and partners with local know-how, GIS expertise and sales experience.
